December Meeting Highlights

  • Park update
    • Ice rink open:
   Monday-Friday, 3-9 pm
   Saturday, 10 am-9 pm
   Sunday, noon-6 pm
Free loaner skates available at the park. Gently used skates always welcome for donation.
    • Fire on Ice event January 20 (see below)
  • 2017 Happy Hours — Survey for future time and location
    • Thursday, January 5 • Cafe Maude • 4-5:30pm
    • Invite people to January event who may be interested in our new green team focused on a variety of sustainability issues
  • Renter engagement workshop — Saturday, January 7 • 10-11:30am
  • Park improvements — the Washburn Tot Lot is slated for improvements starting in 2017. We are collecting input from area residents, and are in discussions with Park planning.
  • FixIt Loan — currently all dollars have been loaned. Armatage, along with the other 3 partner neighborhoods have voted to add additional dollars so the loan program can meet the interest of area residents. Watch for updates once these funds have been transferred and are available.

Please join the Armatage Neighborhood Association (ANA) on Saturday, January 7, 2017, 10-11:30am, at the Armatage Community Center for free food and drink to build community, network, and share any questions or concerns. The ANA is especially interested in feedback on what kinds of workshops, events, or support would be useful to renters in the neighborhood.

Free copies of the book “How to be the Smartest Renter” will be available to attendees (first come, first served).

Neighborhood Ice Skating Party

Join us down at Armatage Park our annual Fire on Ice Skating Party!! Grab your mittens and hat for this outdoor neighborhood celebration. Enjoy a night with family and friends skating and a variety of outdoor activities or keep warm with hot chocolate and bonfire. No registration required, just come on down!
