The Armatage Summer Festival is an annual summer party held the third Monday in August. This family friendly event is held in partnership with Armatage Park and the Armatage Neighborhood Association and draws over 2,000 people. We typically have a band, food vendors, a collector car show, raffle for the adults and face painting, magic show and games for the kiddos.
The summer festival is the most important event the ANA sponsors because it gathers neighbors together to celebrate our neighborhood. This event helps reinforce our values and vision for the neighborhood and helps connect neighbors with each other and our local businesses.
This event relies on volunteers to make it happen! There is a Summer Festival committee, which anyone is welcome to join. We meet only a few times to work through event details. We need lots of people day of to help set things up, run games, sell tickets, help at the raffle, and help get the park back in order after the event. This is a great way to get involved and meet your neighbors! Details for how to sign up are available a few weeks before the festival. If you are interested in joining the planning committee, contact our coordinator!
We also rely on donations to create our raffle and sponsorship to be able to bring in good music and entertainment as well as to offer fun prizes for the games. Learn how you or your business can help support the Summer Festival!
