Metro Transit E Line Corridor Study

Thanks to everyone who attended the Open Houses on December 10 & 13! There’s still time to weigh in on the proposed routes through Southwest Minneapolis via an online survey, sign up for E Line updates, and learn more about the project at metrotransit.org/e-line-project

The E Line rapid bus project will follow Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis and Uptown. Metro Transit is starting a Corridor Study to evaluate E Line routing options on more segments of Route 6 south of Uptown, along West Lake, Xerxes and France. Changes to the Route 6 and other connecting bus service that could impact Armatage is also included in the study. Metro Transit would like to hear from you to help us determine where the E Line will go.

Corridor Study Community Advisory Committee
We are looking for 15 members to represent residents, students, businesses, and Route 6 riders along the study corridor. The committee will meet approximately three times over the study period. Committee meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30. Applications will be accepted until December 20. Apply today!

Give Local Experiences as Gifts

Looking to simplify gift giving this holiday season? Hennepin County’s Choose to Reuse Guide has a great article on giving local experiences as gifts and it’s filled to the brim with helpful local links. Check it out at https://bit.ly/2Caj5tI

Package Theft Prevention Tips

Every year around the holidays, there is an increase in packages ordered online and delivered to homes. This also can come with an increase in thefts when the packages are left unattended outside. Victims usually report the theft to their shippers so the police department may not know the extent of these thefts.

Snow Emergency Alerts

Winter is here!  Sign up for alerts from the City of Minneapolis and avoid an expensive tow (and making a friend drive you to the impound lot).
