Free Pumpkin Giveaway

Saturday, October 4 • 10:30am-12:30pm

Kelly O’Neil and her real estate team will give away pumpkins at Sunnyside Gardens (3723 W 44th St). Look for the table with red balloons to receive your coupon. Learn more at www.koneil.com.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

  • Bring your carved pumpkin to Armatage Park 
  • Thursday 10/26 2:00-9:00pm or Friday 10/27 2:00-4:00pm
  • Carved pumpkins will be on display throughout Friday night
  • Two prizes will be awarded: Kid’s Choice and People’s Choice!
  • Take your pumpkin home after the judging.

Trunk-or-Treat

  • Get your group together to build a display! Space is limited, so register soon! Be creative, but please remember this is a family event, so nothing too gory. Find ideas at www.armatage.org
  • Set up begins at 5:00pm. All displays must be ready by 6:00pm. An adult must stay with the vehicle throughout the event, and please plan to stay until 8:30p. 
  • Registration is FREE, plus candy and non-candy treats are provided courtesy of ANA and the Park.

Register by 10/24. Send the following information to our coordinator:

  • Group or organization name 
  • Concept/idea
  • Main contact person (email and phone — and if it okay to text)

Help Design Washburn Park

Saturday October 28th, 10am-noon
Drop in anytime
58th & Washburn

The Washburn Tot Lot (as it is named) playground is slated for major improvements in 2018 and now is the time for us to chime in with ideas!

  • Meet at the park near the playground to provide input
  • Kids are encouraged to come and enjoy games and activities
  • Enjoy coffee and light snacks
