Halloween at the Park

Friday, October 27 • 6:00-8:30pm • Armatage Park
Wagon Rides • Bonfire • DJ • S’mores & Popcorn • Bounce House

Pumpkin Carving Contest

  • Bring your carved pumpkin to Armatage Park 
  • Thursday 10/26 2:00-9:00pm or Friday 10/27 2:00-4:00pm
  • Carved pumpkins will be on display throughout Friday night
  • Two prizes will be awarded: Kid’s Choice and People’s Choice!
  • Take your pumpkin home after the judging.

Trunk-or-Treat

  • Want to hand out treats? Let us know — just plan to bring your “station” to the event, and we provide the treats! It is that easy! Be creative, but please remember this is a family event, so nothing too gory. 
  • Set up begins at 5:00pm. All displays must be ready by 6:00pm. An adult must stay with the station throughout the event, and please plan to stay until 8:30pm. 

Help Design Washburn Park

Saturday October 28th, 10am-noon

The Washburn Tot Lot (as it is named) playground is slated for major improvements in 2018 and now is the time for us to chime in with ideas!

  • Meet at the park near the playground to provide input
  • Kids are encouraged to come and enjoy games and activities
  • Enjoy coffee and light snacks

October Meeting Highlights

  • ANA will purchase wooden trucks and shapes for toddler play times and events at the park. ($600 approved)
  • Happy hour will continue in 2018 at Red Wagon Pizza – watch for more details.
  • Rain garden designing stage is underway with area residents.

Tree Lighting and Charity Drive

Friday, November 24 • 7:00pm • Armatage Park

Diapers and formula will be collected at the park in November for the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery.

Enjoy a photo op with a vintage sleigh!
