Happy Holidays from the Armatage Neighborhood Association!

December 15 Meeting Recap

The ANA held its final neighborhood meeting of the year and continued its conversation to update board and committee expectations. Our Coordinator Lauren reported that the Holiday Light Tour has had great attendance with 54 votes and counting. Tour messages will be updated to remind drivers not to idle more than 3 minutes on city streets. Council Member Linea Palmisano joined us for the second half of the meeting to answer questions and give an update on the City’s final 2021 budget after last week’s vote, funding for public safety and the impact of COVID-19 on revenue.

Armatage Holiday Light Tour: Voting Ends Sunday

While lights will linger throughout the month, voting wraps up on December 20 at 11:59pm, so after you’ve visited every stop on the tour, head back to vote for your favorite holiday displays. Last Chance for a 2020 Safety Rebate

Reduce Waste this Holiday Season

Click here for tips to reduce food waste, buy used, safely recycle items like broken strings of lights, opt for low-waste decor and more from Minneapolis Solid Waste & Recycling!

For all of you exchanging gifts this month, look for wrapping paper that is recyclable and made from recycled paper and does not contain glitter, foil, reflective areas or velvet. These types of wrapping paper cannot be recycled or composted and should be put in the garbage. For extra low waste options, opt for fabric, newspaper (the comics section is particularly fun), old maps or calendars, or plain paper bags or boxes that you decorate yourself.

Same day testing can be done for health care workers, first responders and essential workers. Otherwise, expect to get your test results in about two-three business days.

New Speed Limits in Minneapolis

Crews finished installing signs at Minneapolis entry points to alert drivers that the speed limit is now 20 mph in the city unless otherwise signed. Slower speeds on local streets make travel safer for everyone no matter how you get around.

Now that the gateway signs are installed, the 20 mph speed limit on Minneapolis residential streets is in effect. New speed limits are 20 mph for local residential streets; 25 mph for larger, arterial City-owned streets; and 30-plus mph for a few City-owned streets. COVID-19 Business Relief Payments Coming Soon

The Minnesota Department of Revenue will send COVID-19 Business Relief Payments to restaurants, bars, gyms and other eligible businesses under a $216 million economic relief package signed into law December 16. Eligible business owners do not need to take any action to receive this aid. The state will determine eligibility and payment amounts based on program requirements outlined at https://www.revenue.state.mn.us/covid-19-business-relief-payments

Free Pet Adoptions at MACC in December

There’s still time to help clear the shelter and help pets find their forever homes for the holidays!  Minneapolis Animal Care & Control has waived all adoption fees for adoptable animals during the month of December! Let’s clear the shelter –  read more here.

Adoption details:

  • Browse adoptable animals at www2.minneapolismn.gov/animals/adopt.
  • Call 311 or 612-673-6222 to request an adoption appointment. All adoptions are being done by appointment to limit the spread of COVID-19.
  • Adopters must meet and spend time with the animal they want to adopt before completing adoption paperwork.

At the November 17 meeting, the ANA Board approved year-end expenses, discussed proposed changes to the board and committee expectations and renewed staffing contracts for our Coordinator, Lauren Anderson, and our Accountant, Rachel Ireland-Henry.

Transforming Community Safety Survey Closes Friday

COVID-19 Housing Assistance

Minnesota’s COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program helps cover housing expenses such as rent, mortgage, utilities or other housing-related costs for eligible renters and homeowners in communities across the state. People in Minnesota interested in applying for assistance can call the Greater Twin Cities United Way’s 211 Resource Helpline at 651-291-0211, visiting 211unitedway.org or texting “MNRENT” or “MNHOME” to 898-211. The 211 Helpline has dedicated multilingual staff to answer questions about the COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. You can also check the COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program frequently asked questions.

Hennepin County also continues to offer emergency rental assistance for residents with low incomes who have been financially harmed by COVID-19. Residents can learn more and apply at www.hennepin.us/rent-help

Give Feedback on the Proposed 2020 Budget

Share your thoughts on Mayor Frey’s recommended 2021 City Budget by submitting a comment online or at an upcoming virtual public hearing:

Learn how to participate in online public hearings here. Comments submitted online will be entered into the public record and shared with the mayor and council members. The City Council is scheduled to vote on adopting the budget on Wednesday, Dec. 9. New Stay Home Order Takes Effect Friday

Tomorrow (Friday, November 20), new statewide restrictions will go into effect to combat the dangerous spike in COVID-19 cases that has occurred this fall. Some of these changes include:

  • All bars and restaurants will end dine-in service and operate exclusively with takeout or delivery. This is a great opportunity to support our neighborhood businesses by getting take out!
  • Fitness centers and gyms will be closed.
  • Adult and youth sports practices and competitions will be paused (professional and collegiate sports will continue).
  • Minnesotans should not gather with anyone outside their immediate household, whether indoors or outdoors.
  • During the next four weeks, no person outside of the immediate household be brought into your home, except if certain exceptions apply.
  • Weddings, funerals, and other similar planned ceremonies can be held with the current rules in place, but all receptions and gatherings around these ceremonies must be canceled or postponed.

Racism is everybody’s problem, and it’s well past time to start talking about it. In this conversation series, Let’s Get Uncomfortable, we’re asking you to do just that. LGU is a facilitated space to get people (particularly white people) to talk about racism, its consequences, and how we all share the responsibility to do the work for change. Need a place to start? Armatage Native Plant Rebates

The ANA and Green Team have launched our first-ever Native Plant Rebate program to increase pollinator habitat throughout the neighborhood! Now through September 30, you can purchase native plants locally and apply for a 50% rebate from the ANA up to $20/household.

Take the Census by September 30

Hundreds of households in Minneapolis remain uncounted. This undercount could leave communities without resources and fair political representation for the next 10 years.

What can you do to help?

  1. Complete the census for everyone in your household. If your household misses the opportunity to complete the census this year, the next opportunity to be included won’t occur until 2030
  2. Already completed the census? Encourage your friends, family and neighbors to do the same.
  3. Share census information on social media. Post the link: my2020census.gov and tell your networks about the importance of getting counted.

The data obtained by the census allows the federal government to determine where to allocate resources for things like schools, parks, roads and much more. Our communities deserve the proper funding for resources we rely on including programs and services like SNAP, Medicaid, CHIP and Head Start. Visit My2020census.gov or call 1-844-330-2020 and get counted before the Sept. 30 deadline.

Join the Armatage Green Team for a safe and distanced clean-up of our neighborhood streets, sidewalks, and parks on Saturday, October 3 from 9:00-11:00am as part of the citywide Litter Be Gone events! This is a great, meaningful opportunity for kids, teens and adults to show our neighborhood pride and keep trash and recycling from ending up in our waterways. City Begins Public Review of Draft Built Form Regulations

The City has launched the 45-day comment period for the public to review draft built form regulations that will regulate the scale of new buildings and additions to implement the Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive Plan. Minneapolis 2040 includes 14 Built Form Districts that will guide regulations on  building height, floor area ratio (FAR), lot sizes and setbacks from property lines, and more.

Free Meals Available at School Sites

Free meal boxes are now available at 29 school sites. All families are invited to participate in this free program and do not have to have a student in Minneapolis Public Schools. Families can pick up one box per child per week.

Most sites will be open from 11:00am – 3:00pm with some sites open 11:00am-5:00pm. Visit the Minneapolis Public Schools website for locations, menus and special diet information.

Early Voting & Absentee Ballots

Early voting has started at the Minneapolis Early Vote Center at 980 East Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis MN 55414. Hours are posted at vote.minneapolismn.gov/events and please wear your mask!

Vote by mail: Everyone in Minnesota is eligible to vote by mail, no reason needed. It’s quick and easy to request your absentee ballot online. Allow plenty of time to request and mail back your ballot: bit.ly/vbmmn101

Absentee ballots cannot be brought to your polling place but you can drop them off at the Early Vote Center (address above) or the Hennepin County Elections office (skyway level of Hennepin County Government Center at 300 South 6th Street).


Southwest Parks Plan Hearing: October 7

The MPRB will hold a public hearing on the Southwest Parks Plan on Wednesday, October 7 at 6:45pm during the regular Board of Commissioners meeting. The plan sets a vision for the improvement, operation and management of all neighborhood parks in Southwest Minneapolis over the next 20-30 years and was created after nearly two years of community-based engagement, planning and design with individuals, neighborhood groups and community organizations.

The public is encouraged to view the meeting from home and email comments on the plan to the Secretary to the Board at jringold@minneapolisparks.org before 3:30 pm on October 7. Comments should be limited to approximately 300 words, which is similar to three minutes when read out loud by the Secretary at the Board meeting.

The proposed Southwest Parks Plan will be published to the project page (minneapolisparks.org/sw) on Friday, October 2. After the hearing, the Planning Committee will consider approval of the Southwest Parks Plan. The full board could consider final approval at either its October 21 or November 4 meeting.

How Energy Efficient is Your Neighborhood

In January, the City of Minneapolis launched a one-of-a-kind energy disclosure for homes being sold in the city. Energy efficiency has consistently been a part of the conversation for people buying and selling homes and this policy allows people to see how efficiently homes use energy.

The map is growing of homes that have received an energy score. You can view the scores in your neighborhood by visiting mncee.org/tish/yourscore The City of Minneapolis provides resources for people to make cost-effective energy improvements on their homes:

  • Up to $1,000 in cash-back rebates
  • Up to $500 in energy tax credits
  • 0% interest loans for the upfront cost

To make this all possible, the City Minneapolis and CenterPoint Energy have partnered with local nonprofit, Center for Energy and Environment, to provide an Energy Advisor service to assist homeowners with energy upgrades.  We all can do our part to make our city a greener place to live while improving the comfort and value of our homes. July 21, 2020 Meeting Recap

Officer Elections for two open positions were held. Kevin Ross was elected as Vice President and Patty Grabski was elected as Secretary. After this summer’s community conversations, the ANA voted to partner with the Theater of Public Policy to hold small group facilitated workshops on talking about race and being anti-racist (more details to come). The board approved funds for these workshops and to plan a safe and distanced neighborhood Food Truck Night in August pending permit approval. The ANA will continue working with the park on getting an event permit approved as the City of Mpls isn’t issuing residential food truck permits at this time. The Green Team presented plans for a few programs and events this summer and early fall including a new Native Plant Rebate program, an Adopt a Storm Drain campaign, and the annual Neighborhood Litter Be Gone Clean-up. The Board voted to approve funds for each initiative and to hold a regular monthly meeting on August 18.


Comments Sought on a Second Proposed City Charter Amendment

The Minneapolis Charter Commission has proposed another possible change to the City Charter, our City’s constitution, and is seeking public input on this proposal. This new proposal removes minimum funding requirements for the Police Department without eliminating Police as a required department.  Read this second proposed Charter amendment here. The public hearing for the second proposed Charter amendment is scheduled for Monday, July 27 at 5:00pm (access meeting info here).

This is the second of two proposed Charter amendments. The City Council submitted the first proposed amendment, which if passed would eliminate Police as a required department in the City Charter and instead require the creation of a Department of Community Safety and Violence Prevention, which may include a police division. If both proposals are approved by the deadline of August 21, then they could both appear as ballot questions this November.

Statewide Mask Order Starts Saturday

Governor Tim Walz signed an executive order requiring Minnesotans to wear a face covering in indoor businesses and indoor public settings starting tomorrow, July 25. Minneapolis has had an indoor mask order in place since late May and researchers have advocated for masking, calling it a simple and effective step to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. For information and resources on the mask mandate, including frequently asked questions, visit mn.gov/COVID19.

Individuals with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that makes it unreasonable for the individual to maintain a face covering are exempt from the order. Children ages 5 and younger are also exempt. Children under 2 should never wear a face covering due to the risk of suffocation.

Under usual circumstances, we’d be hard at work preparing for our annual Summer Festival and looking forward to spending our favorite day of the whole year with the neighborhood. While we can’t safely hold any neighborhood events this year, we’re grateful to see so many of you on Zoom and look forward to when we can gather as a community again. Guidelines Passed for Park Encampments

Last week Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution that will reduce the number of parks with temporary encampments for people experiencing homelessness to 20, limit the number of tents per encampment to 25, and establish a new encampment permit requirement. The MPRB is not pre-selecting the 20 sites and is instead allowing those applying for a temporary encampment permit to request the park they wish to stay in. If a permit is approved, the MPRB will provide restrooms or portable toilets, hand washing stations (as vendor supplies allow), and trash/recycling containers to the encampment within 48 hours of issuing a permit.

Encampment permit applications are available by contacting the MPRB at encampmentpermit@minneapolisparks.org.  Once an encampment permit is issued, the MPRB will communicate with the neighborhood association where the park is located and list the park at www.minneapolisparks.org/encampments


Low-cost Pet Vaccinations Available

Minneapolis Animal Care & Control is now offering low-cost pet vaccinations by appointment only to follow safe COVID-19 guidelines and ensure there aren’t too many people in the shelter at one time. Getting animals vaccinated is an important public health and safety service and helps pets live happy, healthy lives.

Services: Rabies vaccination: $10; DA2PP (distemper combination for dogs) vaccination: $10; PRC (distemper combination for cats) vaccination: $10; and microchip: $10.

This service is only open to Minneapolis residents who have or buy a current pet license. Residents can sign up for an appointment using this form or by calling 311 or MACC at 612-673-6222. Appointments are available 1:00-4:00pm on most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Polling Place Changes

50 polling locations throughout Minneapolis are changing for both the 2020 Primary and General Election. Of the 50 relocated polling places, 16 were in senior homes, high-rises and other residential sites and another 32 had insufficient space for people to keep at least 6 feet apart. Double check your polling place today at pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us

Vote by Mail

All Minnesota voters are eligible to vote by mail, no reason needed. This year in particular, we encourage you to stay safe and minimize direct contact with others while exercising your civic duty. It only takes a couple minutes to request absentee ballots, which will arrive with postage-paid envelopes for return. Complete the vote by mail application online here.   You can even track the status of your ballot and confirm that it was received and accepted without problem.

Visit the Minneapolis Early Vote Center (980 East Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis MN 55414) Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm (Saturday hours start in August) to vote early in-person for the August 11 Primary.  Hours and details are posted at vote.minneapolismn.gov/events/ and please don’t forget your mask!


Emergency Rent Assistance & Evictions Suspended Through Aug 12

With the extension of MN’s peacetime emergency through August 12, evictions are suspended but rent is still due so please continue to share this resource widely.

Proposed Armatage Neighborhood Funding Cuts

The City of Minneapolis is considering a plan that would drastically reduce the annual funding for Armatage and many other neighborhoods. The last few months have reinforced how critical strong, local communities are and we believe there can be a better balance that will increase funding for equity while allowing small neighborhoods like Armatage to keep doors open.

Evictions Suspended Until July 13

The governor’s latest extension of the peacetime emergency means that the suspension of evictions and landlord-initiated lease terminations remains in place until July 13. With a probable wave more COVID-19 cases later this year, we encourage you to request an absentee ballot now. It only takes a couple minutes to request ballots for both the primary and the general election. Ballots will arrive with postage-paid envelopes for return. To complete this application online you must:

  • Be eligible to register and vote in Minnesota (check or update your voter registration here)
  • Provide an email address
  • Provide your identification number: MN-issued driver’s license, Minnesota ID card or last 4 digits of Social Security Number

Mask Up Mpls

ICYMI, cloth masks or face coverings are required at all indoor public spaces in Minneapolis. Masks can help prevent you from infecting others, especially in situations where you may spread the virus without symptoms. Even while wearing a mask, you still need to wash your hands frequently, cover your cough, and practice physical distancing by keeping at least 6 feet of space between people.

Businesses are not required to provide masks to customers or employees, though employers are required to mandate the use of masks by their staff. Non-compliance should be reported through 311.  Learn more about the Minneapolis Mask Ordinance here.

Donate Face Masks for Mask Drive Mondays

Minneapolis residents can deliver homemade masks to their local fire station from 10:00am-2:00pm every Monday for Mask Drive Mondays.  Our closest fire stations are at 2810 W 50th St and 5410 Nicollet Ave S.

Please plan to stay 6 feet away from others when dropping off your donation. The City of Mpls will distribute the donated masks throughout Minneapolis to residents, organizations and businesses that are most in need.

May 19 Meeting Recap

Thanks to Council Member Palmisano for giving an update on how the City continues to address COVID-19, including the current budget deficit. The Board discussed its 2020 Board Election (June 9-16) and planned next month’s virtual Annual Meeting (June 16), approving a small budget for communications and door prizes.

The new Neighborhood Art Journal is underway with many submissions received already. The Board approved funds to continue spreading the word through chalk drawings, social media and flyers around the neighborhood. Additional topics of discussion: board expectations, Mini Grant recipient orientation, Rain/Native Garden program, and the Green Team’s Organics Workshop (thanks to all who attended!).

Masks Required Indoors Starting 5/26

Yesterday Mayor Jacob Frey signed Emergency Regulation 2020-12, which will require people in Minneapolis to wear cloth face masks or coverings when they are in an indoor place of public accommodation, including grocery stores, recreation centers, hotels, retail businesses, the skyway system, and government buildings.

The order takes effect Tuesday, May 26 and applies to everyone over the age of 2. See mask FAQs at http://www.minneapolismn.gov/coronavirus/faqs#Masks

Request Your Absentee Ballot to Vote by Mail

Many public agencies including the City of Minneapolis recommend voting early by mail this election year. Sign up now to get your ballots for the August primary and November general election mailed to you. April 21 Meeting Recap

Council Member Palmisano gave an update on the City’s response to COVID-19 and City services. Armatage Park Director Jordan Nelson shared MPRB’s new Ambassador program, which is stationing staff at all park properties throughout the City to serve as a resource. Armatage Park’s playground is up for reconstruction over the next year and the ANA is working with the MPRB on engagement and minimizing impact on the neighborhood.

The ANA will hold virtual Annual Meeting and Online Board Elections on June 16 (look for more details to come) and continue monthly virtual Happy Hours with different topics (next month’s Happy Hour is May 12 at 8:00pm with the topic of gardening). In May and June, the ANA will collect pictures of neighborhood art, poetry, knitting/crocheting, gardens, sidewalk art, etc. to create a final pdf or video. The board approved this year’s Mini Grant recipients and the sign-ups for the 2020 Rain & Native Garden program are underway (see below).

Minneapolis Housing Gap Funding – apply by April 27

Applications are now open for the City of Minneapolis’s Housing Gap Funding.  Eligible expenses include rent payments, utility payments and/or other housing stability related costs.  Apply by 12:00pm on Monday, April 27 at http://minneapolismn.gov/coronavirus/gap-funding. Sign up for the Armatage Rain & Native Garden Program

The Armatage Neighborhood Association is teaming up with local nonprofit, Metro Blooms, again this year to help Armatage residents install a low cost rain or native garden. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and virtual consultations will start right away. Apply today at armatage.org/programs/rain-gardens/

Participants pay an average of $300-$450 and are responsible for planting and maintaining their garden. Additional need-based grants are available through the ANA for residents who meet income guidelines: click here for guidelines and to apply for additional assistance. Street Sweeping is Underway

Street sweeping began this week and will continue for the next several weeks.  Look for temporary “No Parking” signs at least 24 hours before your street is scheduled. Spring street sweeping is critical clean leaves, debris and other pollutants from the more than 1,000 miles of city streets and alleys to protect our waterways.  Click here to see when your street is scheduled to be swept.

March 17, 2020 Meeting Recap

The ANA held its first virtual neighborhood meeting on Zoom – thanks to everyone who joined us! Council Member Palmisano gave an update on the City of Minneapolis’s efforts to prepare for COVID-19. The board planned a COVID-19 resources page (linked above), voted to postpone the Annual Meeting & Board Elections until June 16, and discussed a response for the Neighborhoods 2020 comment period, which ends on April 17. The Mini Grants Committee is in the midst of weighing applications for the 2020 grant round and the ANA’s Complete Count Committee is reworking its 2020 Census outreach strategies to be online-only (see above).

Neighborhood Funding to Decrease

The new Neighborhoods 2020 Draft Guidelines are here and we encourage neighbors to check out the plan and comment by April 17. The City Council plans to vote on this in May.

Proposed funding levels for neighborhoods like Armatage will significantly decrease in 2021 and beyond to shift more funding toward areas of the City with greater equity needs. Base funding levels will drop to 1/3 of their current level for Armatage, which will impact our ability to serve the neighborhood. February 18, 2020 Meeting Recap

The board approved its annual outreach report for the City. We are so grateful to the volunteers who donated 1,605 hours of their time to the Armatage Neighborhood Association in 2019! The board also discussed the upcoming Mini Grants deadline, Organics Recycling Workshop, recently awarded grant for Census-related outreach, and heard presentations from the following speakers:

  • Michael Jischke, from the Minnehaha Creek Master Plan Community Advisory Committee, on the designs for the section of the creek closest to Armatage.
  • Kate Hersey, Executive Director of the Minnesota Tool Library, on the process of setting up tool libraries.
  • Jennifer Waisanen, Crime Prevention Specialist for the 5th Precinct, on neighborhood crime data.

Our Organics Recycling CONFIDENT(ial) workshop happens next Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00pm at Armatage Park!  Come learn and share ideas in a fun, supportive atmosphere. 🙂  Whether you are already recycling organics and ready to up your game or are still thinking about taking the plunge and getting started, we will cover the latest program updates, tips, tricks, and ideas for home set-ups to help make organics recycling a breeze.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board released updated park plans for the Southwest Service Area Master Plan.  A 45-day public comment period runs now through April 5, 2020.

Homeowners and developers of residential properties can receive up to $5,000 to help offset the additional costs associated with deconstruction.

December 17 Meeting Recap

Council Member Linea Palmisano gave an update on the City Budget, new law enforcement training facility, and Vision Zero Plan implementation that may include safety efforts like lowering the speed limit for all Minneapolis streets, adjustments to high injury corridors, addressing unsafe behavior, education, and enforcement.

The Board voted to renew both the Coordinator and Accountant staffing contracts for 2020. Our Coordinator, Lauren Anderson, and Accountant, Rachel Ireland-Henry, are looking forward to another great year with the ANA! The Board also discussed its anticipated 2020 programming, including a few upcoming events in January:

The Chili Cook-off takes place inside the Armatage Rec Center on Friday, January 24 from 6:30-8:30pm as part of Armatage Park’s Fire & Ice free skating party. Registration closes on Sunday, January 19 so competitors are encouraged to sign up here as soon as possible to reserve their spot. It’s free to compete and just $5 to eat. Competitors should plan to bring a full crock-pot or instant pot of chili to the park by 6:00pm on January 24.


Last Chance for a 2019 Safety Rebate

The Armatage Neighborhood Association offers rebates to residents for up to $100 per calendar year for eligible home safety updates. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your exterior lighting, deadbolt locks, adding security cameras, or more, check our list of eligible expenses and apply for a Safety Rebate before December 31 to take advantage of the 2019 program. If you’ve already gotten a rebate this year, you’ll have the opportunity to apply again in January.

The Resident Safety Rebate program is open to both renters and homeowners and the Business Safety Rebate program is open to any business operating in Armatage. Learn more at armatage.org/programs/safety-rebate-program

Comprehensive District Design Studies & Listening Sessions

Have you been following the district’s Comprehensive District Design process that aims to increase equity and close student achievement gaps in MPS?  Two new studies available this week propose changes to Minneapolis Public Schools’ magnet programs and community school boundaries. The studies outline significant proposed changes for Armatage School and Zone 3. If passed by the school board next spring, proposed changes would start to take effect in Fall 2021.

Comment on the City’s ADA Transition Plan

The City of Minneapolis is seeking public comment on the draft Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan for Public Works – a plan that identifies priorities for removing accessibility barriers in the City’s public right of way.

The City is accepting comments on the draft plan through December 27. It is a supplemental plan to the City’s ADA Action Plan, a comprehensive policy document for the City of Minneapolis to comply with the Title II requirements of the ADA. The draft plan was last updated in 2012.

On October 25, 2019, the Minneapolis City Council adopted a resolution to approve the City’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan. Implementation of the plan is already underway and will focus on achieving the goals of eliminating racial disparities, expanding housing options, addressing climate change and improving the lives of residents throughout Minneapolis.

Initial implementation efforts include a text amendment to the zoning ordinance that allows 3-unit residential buildings in areas previously reserved for only single-family residences, and a permanent Inclusionary Zoning ordinance, both of which go into effect on January 1, 2020. In the coming years the City will continue to implement elements of the 2040 Plan.


Free Manufacturing Career Training
